4Tel Appoints New CEO in Executive Team Restructure

4Tel has appointed Tony Crosby as the new CEO in a restructure of the executive team. Outgoing CEO Joanne Wust has taken on a new hybrid role as Group CEO for 4Tel and 4AI Systems.

Australian engineering firm, 4Tel has appointed Tony Crosby as the new CEO in a restructure of the executive team. Tony has been an integral part of 4Tel’s growth since joining the company in 2013 as the General Manager of Services.   

Tony has been responsible for the company’s customer support contracts and ongoing local and international business development. He holds extensive industry experience, having worked within the rail industry since 2000.

Tony is formally recognised by Engineers Australia as a Chartered Professional Engineer, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Communications-Electronics with Honours, and an MBA in Technology.

“Tony has some great strategies lined up to keep our growth on an upwards trajectory and we look forward to seeing them come to fruition,” said outgoing CEO, Joanne Wust.

Joanne has taken on a new hybrid role as Group CEO for 4Tel and subsidiary company, 4AI Systems, based from New York.

As part of the restructure, James Woltjer has been promoted to General Manager of Software. James has been a champion for change and has grown the largest team of staff within the company. Under his leadership, 4Tel’s client base will notice an improvement in design, functionality, and performance of systems.

Matt Burger has been promoted to Systems Integration Team Leader. He will be forming and leading the newest team in 4Tel, specialists who make solutions work in the many customer environments.  Matt has been integral to delivering services to ARTC, Transdev Sydney Ferries, Transport for NSW, to name a few.
