4Tel Continues Sponsorship of Women in Engineering in 2024

4Tel has renewed its platinum sponsorship for a second consecutive year with Newcastle University's Women in Engineering (NUWiE) club to continue to support engineering as a career for female students.

The 4Tel team is pleased to announce its continued sponsorship of the Newcastle University Women in Engineering (NUWiE) society for 2024. The female-founded and student-run body supports its members by facilitating social and educational networking events to encourage engineering as a career, and to promote diversity and inclusion.

4Tel is passionate about empowering females in STEM is committed to driving female representation in the industry through career mentorship and employment opportunities.

Throughout 2023, 4Tel supported NUWiE by attending Cocktail Connections evenings and other networking events designed to provide practical career advice and bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Leading the sponsor relationship on behalf of the 4Tel team, R&D Coordinator, Megan Dickinson, said:

alliance with NUWiE by offering more on-the-ground support and attending even more events. The club showcases the great talent of young engineers and we hope to inspire and offer valuable guidance on entering the industry.”

4Tel has a long history of fostering emerging talent in STEM. Since 2016, the company has supported various activities at the University of Newcastle to provide students with quality problems to solve and develop their skills for industry employment.
