4Tel proudly sponsored the TOM1 car in the NSW Variety Bash held in June as part of the children’s charity annual fundraiser.

This is the second year the 4Tel team sponsored the car themed after the beloved children’s character, Thomas the Tank Engine. Driven by Mick Freund, the car’s decal was done by Mick and his family.

Mick raised over $12,000 thanks to his fundraising efforts and the support of his sponsors. TOM1 even made the official brochure for next year’s bash.

This fun family event sees Bashers visit regional towns, organisations and schools. This year the Bash route started in Dubbo and travelled through Echuca and Goulburn before finishing in 4Tel’s hometown of Newcastle.

Funds raised in this year’s Bash go towards supporting children with physical disabilities by providing them with sporting equipment, educational materials, medical supplies and specialist therapy. It also contributes to funding Variety Sunshine Coaches, providing transport for children to access special programs and activities.

As a family owned and operated business, 4Tel is an active supporter of community activities such as the Variety Bash across Newcastle and regional NSW. The team extends a warm congratulations to Mick for his impressive fundraising efforts.
