To accommodate the unprecedented growth of the 4Tel and 4AI Systems team, the rear warehouse of its head office premises located in Newcastle, NSW, will be converted into a two-storey office building. Once complete, the 4AI Systems team and 4Tel’s Systems Integration team will relocate to the new space.
4AI Systems has been on a sharp upwards trajectory since the company formed in 2021, increasing from the initial five team members to today’s dedicated and diverse team of 25. Similarly, the 4Tel team continues to expand on projects with its existing client base, requiring additional resources to facilitate ongoing work.
4Tel CEO Tony Crosby said, “To have outgrown our facilities that were purpose-built only in 2016 is a credit to our innovative solutions and hard-working team. With the business celebrating 25 years this year, it’s a significant time to assess our scalability to support our growing portfolio of local and international projects.”
The building extension will provide additional workspaces, including capacity for 28 desks, two offices, two meeting rooms and a workshop, as well as staff amenities and an outdoor seating area.
Additionally, 4Tel purchased a block of land adjacent to the current office in 2023 to future-proof the business. The new building design recently received Development Approval from local council, with construction planned when additional office space is required.
