AusRail Wraps Up for 2025

This November saw our team travel to Melbourne to take part in Asia-Pacific’s largest rail event, AusRail PLUS. Our shared 4Tel and 4AI Systems stand showcased how our digital solutions are currently being used across the global rail industry.

4Tel CEO, Tony Crosby led the team in showcasing our expertise in Train Management and Control System (TMACS) and how we’re helping to improve trackside safety with our worksite protection system, 4PTW. We fielded interesting questions across our range of 4Tel products, like 4Trak, our real-time tracking system, and 4Site, our infrastructure monitoring system with real-time alarms.

Our interactive 4AI Systems display proved popular with delegates. The HORUS SensorBar, our onboard vision perception system, that was fitted to a life-size cut-out of a Pacific National locomotive caught the attention of passersby. There was strong interest in our footage captured by HORUS on Australian rail, and in our demonstrations on what the train driver sees in-cab on the Driver Machine Interface.

4AI Systems’ Chief Technology Officer, Mark Wood did a speaker session in the Technical Stream on how we’re using interoperability methods to allow a replacement onboard safety system to work with legacy signaling safety systems. Mark presented new footage of a recent test that used our Automatic Train Protection technology EN4CER to brake a Pacific National train prior to a supervised red aspect.

Thank you to our industry colleagues for making it a successful AusRail for us!
