Congratulations to the 180 students who participated in the RoboCup Junior Hunter Region competition last Thursday, hosted at University of Newcastle! Volunteers from 4Tel and 4AI Systems made up the people power to run the event smoothly, mentoring the students through the three competition events – Soccer, Rescue and On Stage.
Teams from 14 schools travelled up to six hours to be at the event, from Inverell and Camden Haven in northern NSW to Brisbania on the Central Coast. It was a great day filled with positive energy, excitement, and memorable experiences for the next generation.
We were thrilled to receive numerous thank you notes from teachers, like this one from a Kotara South primary school teacher: “My students all had the best time and learnt so much. The advice and help they received allowed them to progress through each stage getting better and better as they went.”
Without the dedication of our team working alongside community volunteers and teachers, these opportunities wouldn’t exist for students outside metropolitan Sydney. Thank you to our team for stepping up and volunteering to assist!
